Application of Induced Polarization Depth Method in Exploring Loose Rocks Groundwater in Northeast China
Based on the preliminary groundwater exploration of 206 centralized urban and ru-ral water supply projects under the jurisdiction of a certain city in the Northeast Plain,this article aims to grasp the distribution of groundwater aquifers within the region,identify the approximate depth and distribution pattern of groundwater occurrence layers,and verify the water abundance,providing technical guidance for later drilling and well distribution,mainly using the induced polarization depth method to classify the strata in the working area into three types of aquifers alluvial sand aquifer,medium fine sand aquifer,and sand gravel con-fined aquifer,listed from top to bottom,The groundwater aquifer is within a depth range of 30 meters below the surface,and the confined aquifer is below 70 meters underground.At the same time,the distribution of the top plate burial depth of different aquifers within the exploration range is displayed.Through the analysis of the water abundance of the strata,the water abundance within 85% of the plane range in the entire area shows strong to moder-ate water abundance,while the water abundance within 15% of the plane range shows weak water abundance.Final drilling verifies the interpretation and consistent inferences,proving the applicability of the induced polarization sounding method in water exploration in the geo-logical strata of the region.
