Application of Cross-Hole Electromagnetic Wave CT Technology in Precision Engineering Survey
Since the beginning of the 21st century, along with the rapid development of China's infrastructure business and the comprehensive advancement of engineering construction, the traditional means of investigation mainly based on drilling and conventional electric meth-od in the past is more and more difficult to meet the increasingly complex and refined engi-neering investigation needs, especially in the deeply buried pipelines, irregular development of karst, and other typical geologic bodies with poor detection accuracy. And cross-hole elec-tromagnetic wave CT technology has its comparative technical advantages of high resolution and intuitive inversion. Therefore this paper systematically carries out the research on the application of cross-hole electromagnetic wave CT technology based on fine processing in the fine investigation of three projects.Combined with the borehole constraints and verification, the survey objectives of fine positioning of deeply buried oil pipelines, fine identification of local karsts and fissures, and fine delineation of spatial distribution of large-scale karsts are realized. The results show that the accuracy of the areas with better detection effect can reach 1.0m or less. The research results also verify the effectiveness of cross-hole electro-magnetic wave CT technology in the fine investigation of deeply buried pipelines, irregularly developed karsts and other target geologic bodies, which can provide reference value for simi-lar projects;on the other hand,it reveals that the cross-hole electromagnetic wave CT tech-nology may have a broad potential for application in the future of the underground space and structures and other fields of fine detection.
