Application of Three Dimensional Induced Polarization Method in the Survey of a Lead-zinc Mine in Northwestern Guizhou
The lead-zinc-coated area of Northwest Guizhou is one of the important lead-zinc producing areas of Guizhou Province. The deep and peripherals of pig arch ponds found in the area are considered to have a large amount of mineral potential. As the burial depth in-creases,the geological conditions become more complicated, the direct or indirect ore through the physical method of the earth will be ever more widely recognized. In order to ex-plore the effect of the three-dimensional induced polarization method in the northwestern Guizhou lead-zinc-forming area, the effectiveness and installation parameter test of the typi-cal mineral bed are first carried out in the typical mineral bed, results show that the high-pole rate(17~20 mV/V),the low resistance(158~251 Ω·m)of the symmetry and triode de-vice compared with the known lead-zinc ore body space position.Later, high polarization and low-resistance excitement are applied to the peripheral blank zone. The drilling verifies a brown iron ore, pyroneite and accompanying lead-zinc ore geological body, which indicates the location of the space-containing mineral abnormalities and indirectly indicates the spatial position of lead-zinc ore in this area as the application of the three dimensional induced polari-zation method in this area, which has reference for geophysical exploration of the same type of lead-zinc ore in the area.
