Application of Multi-electrode Resistivity Method and Microtremor Survey Technology in Leakage Detection of a Certain Landfill Site
Early landfill sites for household waste are prone to leakage at the bottom of the anti-seepage membrane due to their non-standard treatment.Therefore,identifying the loca-tion of the leakage point and the range of pollution plume transport is crucial for later treat-ment.This article comprehensively studies the leakage problem of a certain landfill site by u-sing high-density resistivity method and micro microtremor survey technology,utilizing geo-physical detection 3D visualization technology,and combining hydrogeological,engineering geological,drilling and other data.The results show that the working area contains three layers.The first layer is the Quaternary system,with a bottom boundary elevation of about 1 280 m and a thickness of about 15 m;the second layer is the weathered layer,with a bot-tom elevation between 1 245~1 260 m and significant fluctuations,with a thickness between 20~35 m;the third layer is bedrock.The deepest burial depth of the landfill is about 20 meters.There are two suspected leakage points at the bottom of the landfill,located on the northwest and southeast sides of the landfill.The depth range of the leakage in the land-fill is between 15~30 m,and the leakage moves southeast along the bedrock fissures,con-centrated on the southeast side of the landfill.Horizontally,the farthest horizontal move-ment of the pollution plume is about 100 m away from the southeast dam of the landfill site.Vertically,as the depth increases,the permeability coefficient of the bedrock decreases,making it difficult for the pollution plume to penetrate into the underground strata deeper than 60 meters.Therefore,its impact depth range is about 60 meters.Through various methods of mutual verification and supplementation,the geological structure of the landfill site and its surrounding areas is basically identified,the leakage points of the landfill site are delineated,and the migration range of the pollution plume is speculated,achieving good results.
