In order to deeply reveal the influence law of contextual regulatory focus on ambidextrous improvisation behavior of construction project employees under unexpected events,and to improve employees'ability to deal with unexpected events.Based on the theory of duality and the theory of moderating focus,risk perception was introduced as a mediating variable,and the structural equation model of contextual moderating focus on ambidextrous improvisational behavior was constructed,and 294 valid questionnaires were finally recovered from the employees of construction projects for empirical analysis.The results of the study show that:context-promoting moderating focus positively affects exploratory improvisation behavior,but negatively affects risk perception;context-defending moderating focus positively affects both exploratory improvisation behavior and risk percep-tion;and risk perception has a significant mediating role between facilitating moderating focus and exploratory improvisation be-havior,and between defending moderating focus and exploratory improvisation behavior,respectively.
