The paper aims to discuss the problems and methods of construction process settlement of general construction proj-ects.The absolute amount of investment in construction projects is huge,and the comprehensive implementation of construction process settlement has a typical demonstration effect,which is beneficial to promoting the industry practice to improve the quality and efficiency.There are still some problems in the settlement of the construction process,including insufficient basis of settle-ment,non-standard settlement process,inaccurate settlement results and other problems.On the basis of the analysis of the prob-lems,the method of settlement in the construction process is proposed,including accurately positioning the whole process cost consultation work,improving the effectiveness of the project investment management,establishing a perfect settlement basis and standardizing the settlement process,further enhancing the awareness of risk control,and timely handling the issues related to the settlement of disputes.
