In recent years,with the continuous enrichment of the connotation of the transformation and upgrading of the manufac-turing industry,the manufacturing industry is more inclined to the improvement of high quality,high efficiency and high efficien-cy.The development of producer services has important strategic significance for the adjustment of industrial structure.From the perspective of connotation reconstruction of manufacturing upgrading,this paper discusses the promotion path of the integration of producer service industry and manufacturing industry to the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry,evaluates the integration level of the two industries and the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry through comprehensive integration degree and manufacturing upgrading index,and uses FEM model to empirically test the relationship between the two.The results show that the integration of producer service industry and manufacturing industry has a significant positive effect on the upgrading of manufacturing industry,and the main improvement dimensions are reflected in scale and structure,but at pres-ent,the integration of the two industries in China is mostly concentrated in the low-end field.Per capita GDP and fiscal expendi-ture have a certain inhibitory effect on manufacturing upgrading,but the inhibitory effect is not obvious;The internal expenditure on research and development has a significant promoting effect on the upgrading of manufacturing industry,and the innovation-driven effect is strong.Based on this,this paper puts forward policy suggestions on promoting the integration of high-end produc-er service industry and manufacturing industry,and the marketization and industrialization of R&D achievements.
