The occupational health and safety of construction workers is an important social responsibility in the process of engi-neering construction.In order to learn from the experience of health and safety management of foreign construction workers,from the construction process,macro design and micro management points of three aspects of systematic research on the British construction industry workers health and safety management system,then compares and summarizes the problems in China's construction industry occupational health and safety management problems,and put forward proposals to strengthen China's con-struction industry occupational health and safety management.The research results show:in terms of the construction process,British laws and regulations have been continuously improved to form a mature health and safety legal system;in terms of macro-design,the UK has established a dual regulatory system;in terms of micro-management,the UK legal system has clear levels and the system is perfect;real-time update,focusing on implementation;qualification rating,serious and standardized;focus on culti-vating talents and conducting product research and development.By learning the experience of building a health and safety sys-tem for workers in the construction industry in the UK,we will provide feasible suggestions for Chinese construction supervisors to reduce construction safety accidents.
