The migrants population faces the dual dilemma of overwork and relative income poverty. This paper constructs a digi-tal economy index and matches it with the data of China's migrants population dynamics monitoring survey to explore the im-pact of the level of urban digital economy development on the migrant population's overworked poverty and its microscopic path of action. The results show that digital economic development significantly alleviates the migrants population's overworked pov-erty,and this effect is realized by promoting the high-quality employment of the migrant labor force, which is manifested in the enhancement of the labor force's probability of individual entrepreneurship and the space for employment development. In addi-tion,the"poverty reduction"effect of the digital economy on the migrants population in the central and western regions, the peri-od of family stability, low human capital and the older generation is more obvious.Accordingly, this paper proposes research im-plications in terms of strengthening the supervision of overwork, improving the digital literacy of the migrants population, and im-plementing policies according to needs.
