This paper expounds the definition,classification and design principles of road marking,introduces four kinds of marking coatings commonly used in our country:hot-melt marking coatings,two-component marking coatings,water-based marking coatings and normal temperature solvent-based marking coatings.Based on the analysis of road accident causes,this paper puts forward the optimal design strategy of road marking for a road upgrading project,and lists the key points of construction and traffic control.
