Taking pile foundation settlement of soft soil foundation as the research content,this paper introduces the settlement characteristics of bridge pile foundation in soft soil area,analyzes the causes of pile foundation settlement from the perspectives of investigation,design and construction,introduces the basic theory of settlement analysis and the calculation principle of current norms,and puts forward the basic ideas of pile foundation design in soft soil area combined with the pile test.Some practical suggestions are put forward for the prevention and treatment of settlement in operation stage.
