This paper mainly studies the common diseases of highway pavement and their coping strategies,introduces five main types of road surface diseases,including cracks,settlement,ruts,pits and oil flooding,and analyzes their causes in detail.On this basis,targeted preventive maintenance plans are proposed respectively to reduce the occurrence of diseases,ensure driving safety and control maintenance costs,and promote the sustainable and stable development of highway engineering construction industry.
