The Application of Nine-Step Excavation Method with Double-Side Wall Guide Trench in Large Cross-Section Metro Stations
In order to investigate the variation of surrounding rock displacement in the process of constructing large-section subway stations underneath heavily trafficked roads and buildings, taking the tunneling project of Beijing West Road Station on Guiyang Metro Line 2 as an example, the application of the three-bench nine-step excavation method in subway station construction was studied. The construction principles and procedures of the double-side wall guide trench nine-step method were introduced, and displacement monitoring and data analysis were conducted on the excavation section, surface, buildings, and station structure. The results showed that the double-side wall guide trench method effectively controlled surface settlement, crown subsidence, building settlement, and horizontal convergence of the surrounding area, stabilizing the stress system and ensuring the safety of the station structure and the buildings above.
