Influence of Pressure Control Strategy on Long-term Energy Efficiency of CO2 Heat Pump Water Heater
Discharge pressure control strategy for CO2 heat pump water heater can cause additional performance losses under the influence of long-term degradation. In this work,a comparative analysis of the performance losses for different control strategies is conducted by introducing component degradation factors. The results show that the strategy with ambient temperature and water outlet temperature control is suitable for the scenario with significant compressor degradation. While the strategy of controlling evaporation and gas cooler outlet temperature is more robust against annual performance degradation, and the average APF loss rate is reduced to 2.52%.
