Numerical Simulation of Nucleate Boiling Based on the Phase Field Adaptive Orthogonal Mesh Model
Aiming at the numerical simulation of boiling heat transfer in saturated nucleated pool,a phase-field Lattice Boltzmann model based on the conservative Allen-Cahn equation and adaptive orthogonal mesh is developed in this paper.With the introduction of phase transition source term,the gas-liquid phase change problem can be solved and the adaptive orthogonal mesh ensures the accuracy of capturing the phase interface and improves the computational efficiency.In this paper,firstly,the reliability of the model is verified by simulating the one-dimensional gas-liquid phase Stefan problem,and then the single bubble nucleate boiling is simulated,the results are compared with the empirical correlation.Finally,the influence of the wettability of the heating surface on the heat transfer of the saturated nucleate pool boiling is investigated.
