To study the effect of dust deposition on the performance of radiative cooling materials, this work establishes a simulation model and designs an experimental system simultaneously, for evaluating the performance of dusty radiative cooling surface.Furthermore, the effect of dust cover-age ratio on the radiative cooling performance in different conditions is analyzed. The results show that in Nanjing, dust deposition in the nighttime does not have a significant effect on the radiative cooling performance. However,in the daytime, dust deposition will obviously lead to the reduction of the radiative cooling performance, and when the dust coverage ratio reaches 0.09,the surface has no radiative cooling effect.
