Study on the Distribution of Heat and Mass Transfer Parameters in Falling Film Evaporation of Sodium Chloride Solution
In order to explore the component distribution in the liquid film and the correlation between the mass transfer phenomenon and the heat transfer process during the falling film evapo-ration of seawater,a 2-D heat and mass transfer model of sodium chloride solution in the falling film evaporation process on vertical plate was established. The software COMSOL Multiphysics based on finite element method was used to compute the distributions of temperature, sodium chloride concentration in liquid film, the local heat transfer coefficient and mass transfer coefficient, and in-terfacial evaporation under different solution molecular diffusion coefficients. In the process of falling film evaporation of sodium chloride solution, the heat and mass transfer processes are coupled and have an impact on each other's processes. The reverse distribution of temperature and concentration in the direction of film thickness inhibits the interfacial evaporation of solvents.
