Recent progress on crystallization behavior of PLA nanocomposites
The recent progress on the crystallization behavior of poly(lactic acid)(PLA)nanocomposites was reviewed.The emphasis was focused on the crystallization behavior of PLA/carbon-based nanocomposites,PLA/nano-clay composites,other PLA nanocomposites,and PLA/nano-hybrid composites.The synergistic effects of plasticizer with nano-filler and shear flow field with nano-filler on the crystallization behavior of PLA were expounded.The analyses show that adding a small amount of nano-filler can enhance the crystallization rate of PLA,improve its heat resistance and mechanical properties,and endow the polymer with special functions such as gas barrier,ultraviolet resistance,antibacterial properties,and so on.Finally,the future research directions of PLA nanocomposites'crystallization behavior are prospected.
