The β-cyclodextrin(β-CD)was used as the wall material and cinnamaldehyde(CIN)as the core material, and the β-cyclodextrin-cinnamaldehyde(β-CD-CIN)inclusion complex was prepared by saturated aqueous solution method.PVAL/β-CD-CIN films were prepared by the casting method with polyvinyl alcohol(PVAL)containing β-CD-CIN inclusion complex, and the effects of inclusion on the thermal properties, mechanical properties and barrier properties of PVAL films were studied by changing the addition amount of β-CD-CIN inclusion complex. The results show that:Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analysis show that the CIN is successfully embedded in the β-CD cavity, and the melting temperature of the PVAL/β-CD-CIN film is reduced by 26.90℃and the crystallinity is reduced by 6.15%compared with the PVAL film without clathrate. When the inclusion content is 15%,the tensile strength and elongation at break of PVAL/β-CD-CIN film reach the maximum values of 22.79 MPa and 430.60%,respectively,and the mechanical properties are the best. When the inclusion content is 30%,the water vapor permeability coefficient of PVAL/β-CD-CIN film reach a minimum value of 0.41(g·mm)/(kPa·m2·h),and the water absorption reach a minimum of 11.97%.The addition of β-CD-CIN inclusion can effectively improve the mechanical properties, water vapor transmission rate and water resistance of the film, laying the foundation for the application of the film in the field of food packaging.
