Design of hot runner injection mold for complex staggered thin-walled grille filter element bracket
In order to solve the problem that the complex staggered thin wall filter element bracket is easy to cause trapped gas during injection molding and easy to deform during demold,a point gate two-plate hot runner injection mold was designed. The structure design and material composition analysis of filter element bracket were carried out.The reasonable gating position was determined by CAE analysis of the pouring system. The temperature and cavitation phenomena of the flow front were analyzed considering the process of cooling, filling, holding and warping. The exhaust problem was effectively solved by local structural design and exhaust method of increasing the matching gap.Efficient cooling loop design reduced cooling times and increases overall productivity. The ejector mechanism was cleverly designed, and the seven push-pieces were arranged differently. At the same time, the ejector mechanism was also designed in the middle position to maintain the direction consistency when ejecting. The problems of large warpage and volume shrinkage were solved. The mold work test was carried out on the injection molding machine. The process parameters were sampled by the optimal Latin Hypercube method. Then the process parameters were input into the panel of the injection molding machine, and filter element bracket was manufactured. The optimal process parameters were obtained The production practice has proved that the mold structure is reasonable, the working process is stable and reliable. It can provide useful reference for the injection mold design of products with similar structure with staggered thin-walled grid structure.
