Research progress on plasticizing extrusion residence time assessment methods for screw press equipment
As one of the commonly used equipment for polymer mixing,plasticization and processing,screw pressing equip-ment can achieve the production of products such as tubes,plates,sheets,and films.Residence time is an important parameter reflecting the performance and product quality of screw pressing equipment.Accurately evaluating the residence time and residence time distribution of materials in the equipment has become one of the research focuses in the industry and scientific research commu-nity.Experiments and simulation are currently the two most commonly used methods for evaluating the residence time of materials in screw pressing equipment.Based on these two methods,the research achievements of domestic and foreign scholars on this issue in recent years were summarized,the advantages and disadvantages of various methods were analyzed and summarized,and the future development direction of screw pressing processing residence time evaluation methods was looked forward.
