Continuous preparation and performance of seawater degradable polyglycollate fibers and nonwovens
In order to alleviate the pressure of non-degradable nonwovens on the environment, polyglycolic acid(PGA)materi-als were used to prepare fibers and nonwovens, and the thermal properties of PGA materials, and the effects of thermal processing temperature, hot roller temperature and metering pump speed of spinning machine on the diameter, linear density, tensile properties of fibers, gram weight, thickness, tensile properties and production stability of nonwovens were studied, and the production process was optimized. The results show that under the conditions of 225,225,230℃ and 235℃ in the 1,2,3 and 4 zones respectively, the head temperature is 215℃,the speed of the metering pump is 24 Hz,and the temperature of the hot roller is 50℃,it can realize the continuous preparation of fibers and nonwovens of PGA,and the comprehensive properties of fibers and nonwovens are better:the fiber diameter before drafting is 0.153 mm,the linear density is 258.38 dtex, and the tensile strength is 1.55 cN/dtex.The weight of the nonwoven fabric is 335.52 g/m2,the thickness is 0.672 mm,the tensile strength is 17.07 Mpa,the elongation at break is 552.50%,and the thickness error of the prepared non-woven fabric is 5.7%,which belongs to the first-class product.
