Structure and mold design of inner lens for parameterized lighting of the car lamp
The parameterized lighting design of car headlights is one of the effective methods to enhance the technological sense and brand recognition of lighting fixtures.A solution based on the dual color injection molding process of the internal light distribution ring in the headlight system was proposed to address the problems of low part qualification rate,low production efficien-cy,and high cost caused by parameterized lighting through post-processing processes such as laser engraving and hot stamping.This process consists of a non transparent resin injection molding decorative ring matrix that blocks the light path,a transparent resin injection molding inner light distribution decorative ring's luminous area,and a hollow parameterized shape of the decorative ring matrix filling the transparent resin to form a parameterized transparent area.In addition,an engineering constraint model was devel-oped for the parameterized design of the two-color overlapping structure based on the requirements of the two-color mold processing technology and mold structure,effectively solving the defect of discontinuous boundary of the parameterized feature circumference.A set of two-color injection molds based on the structure of the parts was designed.In order to solve the problems of the reverse buckle structure of the two-color connection surface,the non demolding slope surface,and the difficulty in forming the gate guide channel of the one-color formed parts,two sets of fixed mold spring block mechanisms were designed for the mold to respectively form the one-color formed parts,the two-color formed parts,and the gate guide channel.The mold was designed,processed,and applied in actual production.Through practice,it has been proven that the structure of the mold is stable and reliable,and the quality of the parts meets the design requirements.The design scheme can provide reference for the development of similar products and has high engineering practice guidance significance.
