Design of two-color injection mould of mine wireless acquisition instrument shell
On the basis of analyzing the technological performances of mine wireless acquisition instrument shell,the split structure and the one mould with two cavities were adopted,and a set of three plate type two-color mould with core pulling of fixed mould slider was designed.To achieve the two injection molding of this product,two sets of cavities with different structures and two sets of cores with the same structure were designed.In response to the design problem of the outer surface of the product being located in the moving mould cavity,the lower half of the conical outer surface of the front shell was transformed into fixed mould cavity molding using the fixed mould core pulling method.The fixed mould"slider+angular cam"core pulling structures were designed.According to the situation where the core of the front shell was high and there was a narrow gap at the root,this core was designed as an insert to save expensive materials and facilitate processing.Pin-point gate gating systems with single pin-point gate feeding were used in the gating system for both injection molding,and the appropriate gate position was determined through analysis by Moldflow2021,verifying the rationality of the gating system design and reducing the number of mould repairs.In response to the design difficulty of the product's internal thread reverse buckle,the threaded core was designed as a movable insert,which is to process a hexagonal through-hole with protrusions inside the fixed mould slider and the threaded core,and fix the hexagonal shaft with grooves to the slider with a pin,then the threaded core could be inserted into or extracted from the hexagonal shaft through the hexagonal hole to simplify the mould structure.The mould has been put into production and runs smoothly and steadily,producing high-quality two-color products.
