According to relevant statistics,at present,the output value of general contracting accounts for about 10％of the output value of construction industry in China.In the field of engineering construction,the EPC general contracting model has gradually become one of the mainstream modes of engineering project management.However,in the specific application management process of the employer,there are difficulties and problems such as unreasonable application of the EPC engi-neering general contracting model,lack of matching pricing models,and difficulty in investment control.By sorting out typical problems,conducting business key node analysis,and under the guidance of policy documents,optimizing the prerequisites and models of EPC engineering general contracting application,adopting project demand list management,optimizing con-tract pricing mode,and introducing rational countermeasures and measures such as whole process engineering consulting,typical problems that arise in EPC engineering general contracting application can be solved,which provide reference for the better development and standardized application of EPC engineering general contracting.
