In order to optimize the construction market environment and solve the problems of settlement disputes and difficulties that have existed in the construction industry for many years,the construction administrative authorities have repeatedly issued relevant documents on process settlement.At present,it is a critical period for the implementation of process settlement.This article elaborates on the feasibility of implementing process settlement in the construction of sewage treatment plant projects.Firstly,it clarifies the current situation of settlement in sewage treatment plant projects and the reasons for the problems.Then,it analyzes the difficulties in implementing process settlement,and further analyzes the measures and suggestions for implementing process settlement,namely,through the construction of relevant internal control systems,the improvement of construction contracts,the cooperation between the contracting parties to complete on-site construction,personnel quality improvement suggestions,and the establishment of an audit mechanism that combines internal and external audits to scientifically match the settlement cycle,achieve dynamic management of engineering costs,to some extent avoid disputes between the contracting parties,and effectively solve settlement problems in the current sewage treatment plant project construction.
