Under the guidance of the deepening reform ideology of cost marketization,empowering cost businesses through digital technology has become an irreversible trend.Based on the competency demands of cost engineers in the context of digital transformation,and combined with the characteristics,direction,and needs of digital business,the article constructs a competency indicator system and evaluation model for cost engineers in the context of digital transformation.The indicator system has been adjusted and optimized under the traditional system,adding digital technology and skills,digital cognition and literacy,and digital cost application capabilities.An indicator system has been constructed that includes 3 first level indicators,9 second level indicators,and 27 third level indicators;the competency evaluation model adopts an improved AHP based weighting method,which overcomes the limitations of traditional AHP methods such as cumbersome process and low accuracy,making the competency evaluation model more objective and applicable.The achievements of the article can be applied to the selection and recruitment,training and development,motivation and retention of relevant departments or personnel,which is of great significance for further improving the talent cultivation mechanism and promoting the steady development of digital transformation.
