Against the backdrop of the global energy transition,the construction sector,as a leading consumer of energy,plays a pivotal role in achieving national sustainability goals,rendering the transformation of its energy consumption patterns imperative.Accordingly,a substantial reduction in the reliance on fossil fuels within the construction sector,coupled with proactive expansion of renewable energy sources,constitutes a central strategy driving the green building revolution.Building Integrated Photovoltaics(BIPV)technology,an innovative practice that deeply integrates high-efficiency photovoltaic power generation systems with modern architectural design and construction techniques,not only showcases the immense application potential of solar energy,a clean and renewable resource,but also heralds a broad development prospect for the future of self-sufficient buildings in the architectural domain.In order to investigate the current situation of BIPV,this article studies the background and common application scenarios of photovoltaic building integration.Through case analysis of incremental cost of photovoltaic curtain wall,this article adopts two parameters,static investment return period and benefit-cost ratio,and makes economic analysis of three photovoltaic schemes:thin film photovoltaic curtain wall,crystalline silicon photovoltaic curtain wall and thin film photovoltaic daylighting roof.It provides references for the economy of photovoltaic curtain wall for future BIPV development.
