The sand coast beach restoration project is one of important type for coast ecological restoration,and it is widely distributes along the coast of China.The cost estimation of sand beach restoration projects is an important basis for management decision-making of sand beach restoration projects,and is of great significance for high-quality implementation of sand beach restoration projects.Aimed to give some advises for cost control of sandy beach restoration project,this paper issued cost control process of the beach restoration project and analyzed control points of cost estimate for beach restoration project based on analysis of cost control types classification and cost composition of beach restoration project.Then the Dolphin Bay beach restoration project in Guishan island,Zhuhai was chose as a study case,We calculated the construction volume and material consumption of the Dolphin Bay sand beach restoration project,investigated the market prices of the main consumables,and prepared a cost estimate control table for the Dolphin Bay sand beach restoration project.Then the cost estimation methods and control points for beach restoration project were analyzed with study case.It is expected to explore technical methods for cost control of beach restoration projects.
