Research on Investment Estimation and Design Budget Control Methods for Urban Art Museum Projects——Taking the Wuxi Art Museum Construction Project as an Example
An art museum is a cultural project that integrates exhibitions,collections,academic research,and public education.The project design of the art museum not only reflects the characteristics of public welfare cultural construction,but also highlights the unique personality of regional culture.The investment calculation of art museums is different from office buildings and residential projects.Cost management departments at all levels rarely have statistical data on cost indicators for art museum projects,and there is a lack of project reference cases,which is a difficult point in the early stage of investment estimation calculation.As a landmark of a city,art museums often have unique appearances and designs,as well as exhibition arrangements and specialized engineering designs,which increase the difficulty of cost estimation and control for art museum projects.The cost control of art museum project estimation requires cost personnel to have more technical thinking on the construction plan,and through technical and economic comparison,propose suggestions for cost optimization.The article takes the Wuxi Art Museum project as an example to introduce in detail the calculation method of investment estimation for similar public construction projects and the ideas of cost control in the preliminary design stage,providing reference for similar projects.
