In recent years,cost estimation reform requires a strengthening in the accumulation of engineering data and focusing on the intelligent application of data.Excel spreadsheets are commonly used as storage carriers for data,but it still requires a lot of manual intervention when using historical data to make investment decisions for new projects,which is time-consuming and prone to omissions.The article takes a new construction project of municipal road as an example,and uses VBA to build an application program based on Excel spreadsheet,that enabling human-computer interaction,by which achieve intelligent estimation in construction projects investment.The program can be used for free on any computer equipped with Excel,which is economical and highly compatible.Not only does it greatly improve computational efficiency,but it also eliminates the possibility of making errors or omissions,resulting in high reliability of estimation results.The VBA human-computer interaction interface of the application program is simple to use,only requiring selection and filling in the blank,and will not change or accidentally delete database content,through which the security of the original data is high.The code of the application can be rewritten according to user needs,by which application can evolve into various types that suitable for industries such as municipal and construction projects,which with a wide range of applications.
