Stabilizing the Current Economic Aggregate and Implementing Partial Structural Adjustment and Innovation----A Survey of and Suggestion on the Upgrading of the Processing Trade in Dongguan City
The current paper summarizes the experience of the upgrading of the processing trade inDongguan city based on the methodology of survey. With data analysis, the following difficulties were found in Dongguan： uncoordinated economic development, emerging township segmentation, over-dependence on foreign trade, irreversible cost increase, lack of new economic growth point and so on. Therefore, the author proposes that the development roadmap for the upgrading of the processing trade in Dongguan city should be ＂stabilizing the current economic aggregate and implementing partial structural adjustment and innovation＂, so as to drive up the overall economic upgrading by district level development, and thus provide a new path for the strategy of ＂scientific development and natural construction＂ of Guangdong province.
