Current Situation of Foreign Trade and Its Developmental Environment in2012
A decrease in consumer confidence and economic slowdown due to the American and European debt crises have had a direct impact on external market demand since 2011. According to the investigation of Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation of Guangdong Province, some enterprises are unable to manage the increasing costs and declining profits. The exports of some industrial sectors in the province have directly been affected due to international trade protectionism. For a time both imports and exports in Guangdong are also suffering from the transformation since it is going through transferring of orders, production adjustment and market restructuring. The author analyzes the external environment of foreign trade in Guangdong and makes some prediction of development in foreign trade of the province in 2012.
