Current Tension in Iran and China＇s Strategic Measures
The current tension in Iran is affecting the international crude oil prices. The United States has constantly been imposing sanctions on Iran with the claim that the country is trying to develop nuclear weapons. The purpose of the US, in actual fact, is to control Iran＇ s oil resources and force Iran to trade oil in the US currency exclusively. However, Russia, as a traditional trading partner of Iran, has been trying to safeguard its own interests in Iran, and has developed a subtle relationship with the US around the issue of ＂oil dollar＂ . As a friendly country, China should take some strategic measures to help stabilize the situation in Iran.
