Relationship between Social Development and Its Cost
The cost of the social development is one of crucial contemporary issues. Normally, social development and its cost are two closely related factors in human society. The paradox of social development has been existing along with the time of modernity. On the one hand, the price of underdevelopment will keep deteriorating if people fail to change the undesirable situation. On the other hand, new problems will occur if social beings attempt to compensate the cost by accelerating the pace of development. This paper tries to examine and reflect on the relationship of development and cost, reveal its internal relationship, provide a new angle of looking at Marxist social development theory, and hopefully to offer a solution to the problems in contemporary social development.
