Potential and Implementation of Guangdong＇s Energy Conservation in the Twelfth Five-Year Plan Period
After calculating the energy-saving potential of Guangdong province, this essay shows the energy intensity per GDP of Guangdong can be reduced by 13.3%-19.2% in the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period. To realize the goal of the energy intensity per GDP reduction of 18% from 2011 up to 2015, it is necessary to establish the fiscal compensation and adjustment mechanism based on the increment of energy consumption.
