An Analysis of Mental Problems of Left-behind Children from the Perspective of Positive Psychology
Issues revolving around left-behind children have recently not only undergone hot discussion, but also aroused keen attention from psychology scholars, considering these children's particular identity and experiences. As a popular body of thought for the 20th century psychological researches in the western world, positive psychology intends to explore and develop the positive psychological qualities in a person so as to equip him with the ability to successfully tackle his challenges and stresses. By combining current research findings of positive psychology and particular mental problems of left-behind children, this paper sets out to provide corresponding intervention measures in the hope of improving the left-behind children's mental health.
