Reviewing Hiroshi Ohnichi's "Some Thinking of the Sovereignty Disputes over the Diaoyu Islands"
With a wave of nationalism sparked by the sovereignty disputes over the Diaoyu Islands, the Chinese and Japanese intelligentsia is involved in heated argumentation, leading the scholars concerned to own statements and confronting each other. There are, however, some visionaries with historical insights who express their views with fair conscience and knowledge. Hiroshi Ohnichi, a famous Japanese expert in economic diplomacy, is one of the representatives in this regard. The scholar published an article "Some Thinking of the Sovereignty Disputes over the Diaoyu Islands" in News Briefings of Kyoto University East Asia Center, which is the bulletin of East Asia economy research sponsored by Economics Research Department of Kyoto University East Asian Economy Research Center.
