In order to consolidate China's southeastern coastal defense and develop Fujian's economy,in February 1955 the Yingxia Railway broke ground.Sympathy activities were an important way to communicate inside and outside the site,internally to stabilize the mood of the workers,stimulate enthusiasm for labor,and externally to make the site of the Yingxia Railway become a"living exhibition"to show the achievements of the new China,and to play the role of enlightenment and has a strong political meaning.In response to political shocks from the outside,the construction site society shape specific scenarios,and the shape of the construction site society was temporarily altered.However,as far as the essence is concerned,the sympathy activity,as a special means of political mobilization,had the ultimate goal of solving the difficulties encountered in the construction of the railroad and promoting the smooth progress of the construction of the Yingxia Railway.
