High-quality development is the major trend in the development of the elderly education in the new era of China,including balanced developments and high-quality developments.Influenced by factors such as its quantity,layout,curriculum,teaching,teachers,the high-quality development of the elderly education in Guangzhou faces certain difficulties.Therefore,in order to promote high-quality development of the elderly education,it is necessary to alleviate the predicament through the following strategies:updating the concepts of elderly education,and expanding scale,optimizing structure,improving curriculum and teaching,enhancing the level of faculty,and advancing the institutionalization of the elderly education.
