Development Strategy and Practice of the Elderly Education in Guangdong Open University under the background of Positive Aging
Developing elderly education is an important way to respond to the rapid aging of China's population and to build a lifelong learning society.In response to the prominent overall supply-demand contradiction,imperfect curriculum system,weak online learning resources,and insufficient depth of serving society in elderly education,Guangdong Open University,relying on the advantages of systematic education,diversified courses,digital resources and social services,explored and refined corresponding development strategies from four aspects of building a learning network,optimized the curriculum system,constructed digital resources,and improved the quality and efficiency of serving society.These results provide an important reference and guidance for the high-quality development of elderly education in the new era.
