Beyond"Service"and"Guidance":Exploring an Integrated Model of Vocational Education and Comumunity Education in the Digital Era
Exploring the convergence and integration of vocational and community education is essential for constructing a learning-oriented society and city.Current scholarly discussions on the relationship between vocational and community education primarily focus on vocational education institutions"serving"or"guiding"community education. However, both service and guidance fail to fully capture the concept of"big education"in the digital age and its technological possibilities. Therefore,an exploration of an integrated model of vocational and community education is proposed, forming an organizational structure with"a set of basic elements and two main functions".Leveraging digital technology and platforms, the model constructs a centrally coordinated institution and develops a mechanism for the overall operation of project-led resource development, educational teaching, and school management.Ultimately, the goal is to achieve the integration of vocational and community education.
