Bibliographies are essential tools for discerning academic chapters and tracing the origins of scholarly works, thus serving as crucial instruments for scholars in their study and academic pursuits.Scholars from Western Guangdong are well aware of this importance.Among them, some have compiled bibliographies that guide later scholars in their studies, some have cataloged collections kept within their families, and others have not compiled any bibliographies.Although these circumstances vary, they all adhere to the traditional bibliographic methodology of classifying ancient texts into four categories. In their scholarly endeavors, these scholars prioritize classical studies and have achieved significant accomplishments, with Long Qirui's achievements being particularly notable.
