Mathematical Statistics of Entering Tone Rhyme in Song Ci
Past studies on the rhymes of Song Ci have primarily relied on the"Qie Yun"system,employing traditional summarization methods that categorize entering tone rhymes into three or four parts.Even when mathematical statistics have been applied,the conclusions drawn have often failed to accurately represent the pronunciation features of the time.This study begins with the"Ancient and Modern Rhyme Summary,"utilizing its alphabetic rhymes to classify the rhyming words in Song Ci.We then apply mathematical statistical methods to perform both quantitative and qualitative analyses.Our findings indicate that the entering tone rhymes in Song Ci can be divided into six distinct categories,offering a more comprehensive understanding of the entering tone system and providing a fresh perspective on the study of rhyme in both Song Ci and Yuan Ci.
