Study on the Chemical Constituents of Volatile oil from Tagara Agarwood
The volatile oil was extracted from tagara agarwood by water steam distillation.Chemical constituents of volatile oil was analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, the relative content of these chemical constituents were calculated using square peaks to normalization. As a result,36 chemical constituents were isolated and identified in the volatile oil from tagara agarwood. It was found that the main constituents of this volatile oil are sesquiterpenes, which comprised more than 76.31 % of total volatile oil from agarwood. The major characteristic constituents from agarwood are Baimuxinal(36.31 %),α-agarofuran(3.18 %) and Agarospirol(1.73 %).
