Research Advance about Allelochemicals of Eupatorium Catarium
Eupatorium catarium that originates from South America were introduced to China and had become an invasive plant, which brings nagative influence to agriculture and biodiversity. It's difficult to control Eupatorium catarium. There are not effective methods to control it. On the other hand, it's convenient to gain Eupatorium catarium which has high biomass and low cost. Once it is developed and utilized legitimately, there is significant social benefit. In this paper, we summarize the recent progress of Eupatorium catarium's allelochemicals and provide ideas for research of Eupatorium catarium.
