Effects of Different Drying Methods on the Peroxide Value of Ganoderma lucidum Spore Oil Extracted from Ganoderma Lucidum Spore Powder
Objective:To compare the effects of different drying methods on the peroxide value of Ganoderma lucidum spore oil extracted from Ganoderma lucidum spore powder.Method:Taking Ganoderma lucidum spore powder produced in Tibet as an example, the Ganoderma lucidum spore powder is dried until it is qualified by different drying methods, and then the wall is broken. The Ganoderma lucidum spore oil is extracted with supercritical CO2 extraction method, and the peroxide value of the Ganoderma lucidum spore oil is detected. Then compare the effects of different drying methods on the peroxide value of Ganoderma lucidum spore oil. Results:The peroxide values of Ganoderma lucidum spore oil obtained by microwave drying and vacuum drying are both qualified, with values of 0.13%and 0.14%,respectively.The peroxide value of Ganoderma lucidum spore oil obtained by hot air drying and air drying methods are unqualified, with values of 0.16%and 0.17%,respectively respectively. Conclusion:The moisture change rate may be an important factor in the drying process of Ganoderma lucidum spore powder. The moisture change rate of the microwave drying method is much higher than other methods. It has high efficiency, low energy consumption, and does not affect the peroxide value of spore oil,so it is suitable for drying large-scale samples.Other drying methods are relatively time-consuming and energy-consuming,and the Ganoderma spore powder has the risk of deterioration.
