Electrochemical Preparation Method and Properties of Variable Color Anodizing Film on Aluminum Alloy Surface
on the basis of traditional anodizing, variable color anodizing film is formed on the workpiece surface by adjusting the anodizing parameters. The oxidation film has a special micro-structure,with a certain porosity. The pore size is 50~200 nm and hole spacing is 100-500 nm.Then a kind of structural color is produced due to the reflection and interference of light. When observed from different angle, the surface of the workpiece can get variable color without any dyeing process, like blue-violet to yellow-green.At the same time, the oxidation film also has a higher hardness and higher scratch resistance. The organic weak acid electrolyte has a lower solubility to the film,so it can make the film dense. The surface of the oxidation film can achieve a bright ceramic effect after polishing.
