Application Research of Constructed Wetlands in Comprehensive River Wastewater Management
With the process of urbanization continues to accelerate, the impact of human activities on river ecological environments has become increasingly prominent, making the effective control of water environments a critical issue. In response, constructed wetlands have been widely used in river wastewater management due to their unique advantages of being eco-friendly,low-cost,high-efficiency,flexible,and sustainable in terms of their effectiveness in improving water quality and enhancing water resource utilization in recent years. This article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of constructed wetlands as a key technology for urban water environment ecological restoration. We first introduce the composition and purification mechanisms of constructed wetlands, and then summarize the various factors that affect their purification efficacy. Finally,we outline the engineering layout planning of constructed wetlands in the comprehensive management of river wastewater, and the existing problems in the current stage. This work aims to provide insights for the effective and sustainable management of regional rivers.
