Preparation and Performance Evaluation of Oil Soluble Viscosity Reducer for Karamay Oil Sand Bitumen
The novel oil-soluble copolymerization viscosity depressants to Karamay oil sand bitumen were synthesized by octadecyl methacrylate,N-benzyl maleimid and acrylamide. The molar ratio of the raw materials and the amount of the initiator affecting the rate of viscosity were optimized. The effects of copolymerization viscosity reducers dosage and temperature were investigated. The polymerization conditions of the viscosity reducer were determined by molar ratio of polymerized monomer was 10∶4∶3,the quantity of initiator was 1%of the total mass of the monomers, the reaction temperature was 85℃.The optimum application conditions are as follows:viscosity reducer dosage is 1000 mg/kg,application temperature is 50℃and application time is 60min.Under these conditions, the viscosity reduction rate is the highest, which is 35.7%.
